Music Sumo is now starting to offer DRM-free digital downloads of our artists for only $0.99 each! Since they are DRM-free, the files can be played on any portable .mp3 player, and you can share them with your friends and family! To ensure that the music sounds great we are encoding all music at 256 kbits/s. Come and check out all of the new .mp3's today! We have already added music from the Bluegrass band, The Trespassers, and we will be adding more and more artists to the store in the near future, so stay tuned!
With the addition of the digital downloads, fans may now start to sample every song from an artist's album. We have decided to change the length of the individual sample clips though. All music samples in the webstore are now being shortened from two minutes down to only 30 seconds. We feel that this better complies with the current overall industry standards, and allows us to store more samples of your favorite artist's music on our servers for you to sample and enjoy for free.
